Terms of Service

Welcome to TellTours. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and TellTours (“we”, “us”, “our”) governing your use of the TellTours mobile app, website, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use TellTours. By signing up you confirm you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at info@telltours.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

2. Acceptable use

Use TellTours only for personal, non-commercial, lawful purposes. You agree not to misuse or disrupt the Service, attempt to access it through unauthorized or automated means, reverse-engineer it, infringe others’ rights, or upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content (including profile photos and usernames).

3. Tours, narration & your safety

Tour routes, points of interest, and narration are generated automatically using AI and third-party data, and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. They are provided for information and entertainment only and are not navigational, professional, real-time, or safety advice. Always stay aware of your surroundings, follow traffic and local laws, and never rely on the app while driving or in any situation requiring your full attention. You use the Service at your own risk.

4. Location & permissions

Some features use your device’s location to find and narrate nearby places. You control location and other permissions through your device settings, and can withdraw them at any time (some features may stop working as a result).

5. Subscriptions & payments

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing cycles, and renewal terms are shown at the point of purchase and are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, subject to their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel through your app-store account. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content we provide, is owned by TellTours or its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service. You retain rights to content you upload (such as a profile photo) and grant us a licence to host and display it solely to operate the Service.

7. Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time from Settings; this permanently removes your profile and associated data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TellTours will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

10. Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms; we’ll revise the “Effective” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them. These Terms are governed by the laws of [the jurisdiction in which TellTours is established], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
